I'm Remi, founder of KIGLAND. We make wearable anime characters (Kigurumi), helping more people become the characters they want to be. The photo on the right is from my WAIC 2026 roadshow.
This site records long-term thinking by me and KIGLAND: Gen Z culture, second identity, emotion, role-play, self-expression, and technology and making.
We think a product that changes how people behave and brings them joy is worth looking into deeply.
I've had a long mix of culture and tech work. Before the AI era I was an engineer and programmer (Github.com/u-u-z), a YC China (Miracle Plus S23, S25) founder, and a NeurIPS author. At 16 (2017) I built an anime and ticketing site that served over 50,000 visits; I helped run ChinaJoy competitions, and worked on China Merchants Bank IT, government systems, and Web3.
